Know Your Price Before We Hang Your Lights
The $199 promotion is installation labor only. Lights are not included. Use working lights you own or buy lights separately from AWC. If your home needs more footage, mounting or access work, we measure the sections, explain the options and give you the updated price before anything extra begins.
What does installation cost?
The $199 promotion covers labor for up to 50 linear feet of working, customer-supplied lights on a qualifying single-story property with straightforward access and little to no obstructions.
| Installation type | Price |
|---|---|
| First 50 LF, qualifying single storyInstallation labor only. Lights not included. | $199 flat |
| Additional standard single-story footage | $6 per LF |
| Additional second-story footage | $9 per LF |
| Difficult-access footage | $12–$15 per LF, quoted |
| Custom or unusual installations | Written quote |
Labor-only pricing applies whether you supply working lights or purchase lights separately from AWC. No lights are included in the $199 promotion or these additional-footage labor rates. With your own working lights, pay labor plus selected extras. With separately purchased AWC lights, add the catalog materials total and applicable tax to that same labor price. Specialty hardware, power accessories and removal are separate unless expressly included. Each installed section uses its applicable per-foot category; single-story, second-story and difficult-access rates are alternatives and are not stacked.
A second-story-only property does not automatically qualify for the promotion. AWC confirms the actual scope and access. Ordinary basic mounting labor is included when compatible hardware and suitable attachment points exist.

A mixed-height example
50 first-story feet plus 25 second-story feet, with the first 50 feet qualifying for the promotion: $199 + 0 × $6 + 25 × $9 = $424 installation labor. Materials, power accessories and removal are separate.
We show you the measurements and revised price before proceeding. Approve the additional work or choose an agreed smaller scope where safely feasible. If you decline a revised quote, your payment is refunded.

What conditions can change the price?
- No suitable gutters, shingles, trim or existing attachment points.
- Tile roofing, fragile fascia, deteriorated wood or stucco requiring special protection.
- Upper or steep rooflines, hillsides, restricted ladders or other elevated access.
- Dense landscaping, obstacles or insufficient ladder space.
- Tangled, damaged, mismatched or incorrectly sized customer light strands.
- Extra arrangement of icicle drops, drape lights or large curtain panels.
- Long power routes, multiple zones, exposed walkways or complicated controls.
Can you attach lights to any surface?
Custom mounting is subject to AWC’s approval. We will not drill into stucco, roofing, waterproofing or other sensitive surfaces without an approved method and your authorization. Added clips, brackets or specialty hardware may need separately approved material charges. If the site cannot be safely serviced, we may decline that portion of work.
Getting Power to Your Lights
The promotion assumes a suitable, accessible outdoor power source near the intended lights. Extra work can include routing around corners or landscaping, securing cords without blocking doors or creating trip hazards, outdoor-rated cords and protective accessories, multiple zones, timer programming, or diagnosing customer accessories.
- Additional routing: $65 per run up to 25 feet, labor only; extra route is $2 per LF.
- Basic timer setup: $25 each. Compatible smart timer/Wi-Fi programming: $65 each.
- Cords, timers and available materials use the current catalog prices; other materials are separately quoted.
We require outdoor-rated products, suitable GFCI-protected power, manufacturer-compliant connections and safe load limits. Unsafe cord routing, overloaded connections, improvised wiring and new outlets are outside standard holiday-light installation. Permanent electrical work needs separate review.

The $99 promotional removal must be selected and prepaid with the eligible installation. Removal is January 5–15, 2027. Additional footage and specialty decorations need separate approval and pricing. Customer-supplied lights are returned to you unless storage is separately arranged.
Want Us to Handle Everything?
AWC-supplied lights are included in this package. These seasonal rates replace the labor-only pricing, rather than being added to it. The package includes:
- Appropriately specified AWC-supplied commercial-grade C9 LED lights
- Standard compatible mounting hardware
- Straightforward roofline installation and basic power setup
- One basic timer
- One qualifying seasonal service visit
- Scheduled removal
Its rates use the full-service method shown above.
Storage is included only when expressly listed in your approved package. Custom mounting, difficult power routes, special decorations, equipment rentals and major access complications are separately quoted. Window outlines and spiral tree wrapping are quoted separately.
The $1,000 minimum applies to the full-service package, not an eligible $199 labor promotion. The full-service rates replace the installation-only pricing method; they are not added to the $199 labor price. Your installation, material and removal prepayments are credited toward the package you approve, without double charging. Request a full-service quote.
What happens if we arrive and the job is bigger than expected?
Before we start, we'll confirm the actual lighting length, access, attachment points, and electrical setup. If your project needs additional footage, special mounting, extra materials, or more labor, we'll explain the options and give you the updated price first. Nothing extra gets installed or charged without your approval.
You can prepay without knowing the exact footage. AWC measures onsite and confirms the final scope and price. Written authorization is required for approved changes, with signed change orders where legally applicable. You may decline optional work before it starts. Applying a payment to a revised quote requires your approval; decline the revised quote and your payment is refunded.
Preview an estimate
Standard additional single-story and second-story footage is calculated automatically at $6 and $9 per foot. Custom mounting, difficult access and specialty installations remain subject to an onsite quote; the listed custom-mounting setup and per-foot figures are pricing guidance, not a guaranteed total. Complex drape designs, window outlines and tree work require a quote. This is a planning tool, not a final quote. It cannot authorize work, schedule installation or initiate payment. Uncertain access and specialty work require site review. Material costs and applicable tax are separate unless expressly included.
A few useful details
What exactly do you measure?
We measure the actual sections receiving lights, not your whole house perimeter unless requested. Decorative hanging drops do not count as extra roofline footage. Icicle and drape add-ons use mounting length.
Can a photo estimate change?
Yes. Photos may not show every access, attachment or power condition. Field measurements and review can change the scope. We itemize accessories and services, explain the options and obtain your approval before additional work.
Are my lights covered by a warranty or maintenance?
AWC does not guarantee the performance of customer-supplied lighting products. Warranty and maintenance coverage must be specifically stated in your approved service package. The full-service package includes 1 qualifying seasonal service visit.
What if the location is unsafe?
Unsafe conditions may require a revised plan or prevent installation. We do not promise a mounting method or access arrangement before reviewing the site.
Can I approve a smaller installation?
Yes, where safely feasible. We can agree on a smaller scope before extra work begins. You can decline optional work. If you decline a revised quote, your payment is refunded.
